Apple cake

makes 3 cakes.

5 eggs.

2.1/2 cup oil.

3 cup of sugar.

2 Tsp of  baking soda.


2Tsp Cinnamon

1 Tsp Salt

5 cup of flour 3 cups of chopped apples

Mix the eggs, oil, vanilla and sugar fold in  flour, salt, baking soda,Cinnamon and apples.

Grease two cake pans and one bread pan heat oven to 35o degrees bake for an hour and fifteen minutes .

chocolate chip cookies

Makes 20

1/2 cup of butter

1 .1/2 cup of sugar

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

1. 1/8th cup of flour

1/2 cup of milk

cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy

add the egg

add vanilla

and blend well

then add flour salt and baking soda ,

then fold in with  the milk

then add one cup of chocolate chips

mix well then grease two cookie sheets take teaspoons sized balls of dough and place on the sheets

preheat oven to350F and bake for 10 to 15 minutes

Chocolate Oatmeal Muffins

Makes 12.

1/2 cup of butter at room temperature.

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 cup brown sugar

with an electric mixer cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

2 teaspoons vanilla

Add two eggs beating them one at a time.

1.1/2 cup of flour

1.teaspoon baking powder

2 teaspoons cinnamon

fold into the butter mixer and alternate using 1/2 cup of milk

one cup of chocolate chips

one cup rolled oats

add these into the batter and mix well

Preheat oven to375 F.

Bake until golden about30 minuets.

let it stand for five minuets before unmolding

October 18th

Today  I woke up at 7;30 mom woke us all up we ate breakfast and began our day.

Today is special today our cousins are coming over for the afternoon so we are doing a major  cleanup in our rooms and the house.

I stated with my room vacuumed it and then tided it up, then I vacuumed moms room.

Then I went downstairs cleaned up the four classrooms and vacuumed them .

After that we went out and cleaned our yard!

By then it was 10 I made cookies the same recipe as the ginger cookies except I added a banana!

I finished at 12 then we made corn bread for lunch I finished baking and cleaning by 1;5!

Then I went up to my room brushed my teeth and got ready for our cousins arrival they arrived at 2 .

We showed them around the house first then talked a bite then went down stares and had a snack of cake and tea!

We played wii and had cookies that I made which everyone liked and we ate apples too!

We played for 4 hours wow!

We went for a short walk for cherrie. Got home then cleaned up the living room and went upstairs and talked until6:30.

Then it was dinner we had tacos and ice cream then we talked until 7;30.

Then we helped with the tables and while Meli did the dishes we went to the classroom and played Rummiekub with Yuki_kun and Fu_chan!

Then Fu_chans mom came at 8 to pick them up then we talked and took pictures until 9 ;30 then we said goodbye and saw them off.

Then to finish the day Meli and I went on a half an hour jog until 9;49.

Ginger Cookies

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar firmly packed

1/2 cup of butter or margarine at room temperature

1 egg

1/3 cup of molasses

with an electric mixer beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy then add the egg and molasses and continue beating until well blended.

2.1/4 cup of flour

2 teaspoons ground ginger

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

1 teaspoon cinnamon

2 teaspoons baking soda

1/2 teaspoon of salt

sift the dry ingredients three times then add to the butter mixture.Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

(I thought the dough was to dry so I added half a cup of milk to it and it turned out nice !)

(I did not do this next part) Place the remaining sugar in a sallow dish roll tablespoonfuls of the dough into the sugar.

place the balls two inches apart on prepared sheets and flatten slightly. Bake until golden around the ends12_15 minutes let it stand for five minutes before transferring onto a rack to cool.

Preheat the oven to 325.F

line two cookie  sheets with wax paper and grease lightly.

Chocolate Chip Brownies

Chocolate Chip Brownies

4/1 once of unsweetened Chocolate.

1/2 cup of butter.

1 and a quarter cup of water.

Melt these ingredients together.

3 eggs.

1 teaspoon vanilla.

1.1/2 cup of  sugar.

pinch of salt (Or what i did was  add two tablespoons of peanut butter instead)

Stir in the Chocolate mixture.

Sift over,

3/4 cup of flour (I did 1 cup of flour)

Optional (1 teaspoon baking soda)

1 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350.F bake for 30 minuets.

( when I did it for 30 minutes it did not bake properly so I did it for another 20 minuets! )

I don’t know other people may have different ovens so if you try it do it first 30  minutes OK?
