Banana muffins.

We had lots of bananas so I decided to make banana muffins.

Recently I have started adding milk to all my baking recipes because I think they are much more soft and most when I do so because the last time I tried this recipe I was told they were too dry now I added milk.

I wonder how did they turn out this time please post your answer.

hear is the recipe.

4 small bananas.

2 tsp baking powder.

2 cups of flour.

1 tsp of cinnamon.

1 tsp of nutmeg or Allspice.

1 tsp vanilla.

1/2 cup of oil.

1 cup sugar.

a little bit milk.

In a bowl sift the flour, baking powder , cinnamon and Allspice set aside.

In another bowl mash up the bananas add the vanilla sugar and oil and blend together.

Mix it all together with a wooden spatula and fold in alternating with the milk.

Preheat the oven to 370F and full up the muffin cups with batter bake for 25 minutes and leave on a rack to cool.

I really like this series and I love the host Phil Keoghean!

He is so adorably cut even in his 40s he has the kind of face and manners I look for in a guy!

I am happy we get to see him on TV in his younger years even my sisters  think he is cute!

Today  was a surprise day!

After word time dad announced to us that the weather was nice enough so we would  go cycling to a nice spot where we had never been before and have a nice obento lunch under the cherry tree!

So at 1:29 we set out and got to the spot around 2:00 and had our lunch it was a blue sky and very warm hear are some photos of our fun day.

After that we cycled back home took us a little more then half an hour .

Then Dad made us coffee and cut fruit cake and we watched the Amazing race a TV show  that Dad got for us to watch and it is really fun.

Today was fun.

I finally got to watch it after all these years of mom telling us no no next year the year to watch it has come  and I did enjoy it.

I think the actor for Robin hood Kevin Costner is really cool .

It did have a few dramatic scenes in it but nothing I couldn’t handle.

All in all I liked it very much.

Almound cookies!

These were cookies originally oatmeal cookies but I didn’t use oatmeal .

I used nuts they turned out good and there are a bite to many.

Hear is the recipe.

1.1/2 cup of butter.

1 cup of sugar.

1 tsp cinnamon.

2 tsp vanilla.

2 tsp baking powder.

2 cup of flour

1/2 cup of milk

1 egg.

1 cup of nuts.

Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

Add the vanilla and egg.

Then add all the dry ingrediandts alternating with the milk.

Add the nuts.

Preheat oven to 350 F and cook for 12 minutes.

On cookie trays put teaspoon of the dough on the try then put it in the oven.
